What is the cause of depression?
Harsh, hurtful and critical words we say to ourselves.
Our very own criticism is the main source of depression.
To change how we feel, we need to acknowledge that we are enough.
We know we are enough, and we need to accept that we are exactly how and where we should be.
Praises need to come from within.
Our friends, family and colleagues may want to help us and praise us.
But it is difficult for depressed people to let praises in, so it is our responsibility to change our thoughts and behaviour.
We need to stop criticising ourselves and start showing who we want to be. One day at a time.
